We started this space with a simple complaint: most massages in a hurry stop feeling like massages. New Version was built to fix that — one unhurried room at a time, above Kanpur Road in Raebareli.
Home / About
The name is a promise, not a slogan. Every guest who climbs the stairs to our second floor is handed an updated version of an old idea — that touch, done properly, is one of the most effective forms of care there is.
We combine classic massage technique with Ayurvedic principles that have been used in this region for generations: warm oils suited to the season, pressure that respects the body's own rhythm, and a room kept quiet enough that you can actually feel the difference.
Nothing here is templated. Each session opens with a short conversation — where the tension sits, how much pressure you actually want, whether you're here to switch off completely or to fix something specific — and the treatment is shaped around the answer.
Rooms are booked with space between them, so your session never gets cut short to keep the day on schedule.
Therapists check in mid-session rather than guessing once and sticking with it for an hour.
Fresh linen, warmed oil, clean tools — every visit, not just the first one that earns the review.
“We'd rather do fewer sessions well than fill every slot on the board.”— House Philosophy
This is a small, second-floor space by design. It keeps the corridors quiet, the rooms private, and the attention on the person on the table — not on how many people are waiting outside the door.
A few honest questions before any oil is warmed, every single visit.
Skilled in classic massage technique and Ayurvedic method.
New linen and sanitised tools prepared for every guest.
Sessions run their full length — the clock doesn't cut you short.
